Atari Centipede

Atari Centipede is an iconic fixed shooter arcade game that challenges players to fend off a relentless assault of centipedes, spiders, scorpions, and fleas using your trusty bugblaster! Your mission is to survive as long as you can in this thrilling gaming experience. Armed with your bugblaster, you’ll launch small darts at the segmented centipede, which is made up of 10 to 12 distinct body parts, including the all-important head. When you successfully hit a segment of the centipede, it transforms into a mushroom, but be warned: each segment continues its descent towards you! Only by shooting the head can you completely eliminate the centipede. Control the action with your keyboard or mouse to move your blaster and take aim at the centipede, making every shot count!
